Could the Apple Watch become an heirloom piece?
We can talk about price, materials and software all day for the Apple Watch. I think the killer feature for the device is that it will be timeless. I expect the watch to be upgradeable. Two generations (of family, not devices) from now, someone will be able to say that they’re wearing their grandmother’s or grandfather’s day one Apple Watch, at least in the sense that they’re wearing the body and band from that day.
